Jill Malouf's new geode series is inspired by a passion of collecting gemstones and minerals with her jewelry designer husband. This time intensive, layering process creates depth and translucence. Jill blends her own mediums to create a unique texture and crystal-like effect and iridescent and metallic paints (“soothing tones of blues and greens”) that appear to change colors in different lighting. She mixes her own mediums to amp up the texture and create a crystal-like effect.

All of the geode series can be hung horizontally or vertically. Metal floater frame.
